Recently I bought Meauro mini projector. To be honest I did 0 research before I bought it. So there are some + and some — to it. I saw it on social media platform where someone was reviewing it and it was quite cheap so I decided to try it. I don't have a TV at home as it is a quite big productivity killer but about once every 2–3 months I like to play some games on my Xbox. I had two options, play on my computer monitor or buy a mini projector.

The first time I turned it on I was not very happy. The image was quite awesome but it was loud. First, what got in my mind — how can you watch a movie or play a game with this sound in the background. In the beginning, I did not have any wall mount or other fixing details so basically, it was sitting with me on the couch. I got back to reviewing videos on the internet and discovered that I had not studied them well. My research was few seconds in the video, found out that picture is good, and bought it.

I knew that I will play games with my headphones on and it will be ok but after watching some show on it I was quite surprised that even sound from my laptop was enough to absorb ventilation sounds from a projector. If you decide to buy or maybe you compare stuff, try to find how much sound in db ventilators will produce. If you put it to the ceiling and don't sit with it together, it's probably gonna be ok. I haven't tested other mini projectors, but if I had to buy a new one, ventilation sound would be one of my priorities in research.

The next big thing is image quality and I was happy about it. The room must be pretty dark for a nice image, but I assume it is a deal with all projectors. Also when you put it on some angle, so the image is higher or lower, some built-in technology finds the right angle so the image on the wall is parallel with the wall. You can connect devices via HDMI port, USB port and you can connect headphones in it. For fixing purposes, you can use some tripods as it has a tripod screw on the bottom.

The interface is basically an android system with some applications already in and you can download more in Play Store. I have not tested it but it also has Miracast for connecting your phone wirelessly. One more not-so-cool thing is that this mini projector doesn't have a built-in battery, so you always have to plug it in. Probably for my next projector I would check models with a built-in battery so it's more mobile. The projector comes with remote control, so you can play with settings and applications. So in summary — I don't regret this purchase, for this price I think it's a very good mini projector, but also I will do better research for the next projector. Things that I learned testing this projector will help me on my next purchase.
